MGLA x Larissa Alvim & Nathalia Pierri: Partners in Life & Creativity
MGLA: Larissa and Nathalia, tell us a little about your journey — as a couple and as creative partners.
Our relationship has always been rooted in complicity, simplicity, and authenticity. We’ve lived through so many experiences together and crossed paths in many different spaces, but when our professional lives started to merge, it became a true highlight, an addition to our life as a couple. I realize that together we become one — whether for a cause, for people or for a service, and together we become a solution.
It’s interesting because people are often surprised that we work together. And yes, it’s a challenge, as every human relationship is, but through clear communication and constant work on our own values, we’ve found a natural flow. This partnership isn’t just about us, it’s about the people who require our service, our presence, and our collaboration.
We flow in balance, like Yin and Yang. We are not opposites, nor identical, we are complementary. And that dynamic reflects in all areas of our life. After a decade of sharing life together, the intensity of our partnership only grows. We’ve been through many versions of ourselves, and today we are more aligned with our inner selves, our life purposes and our maturity.
We seek greatness, and we constantly draw inspiration from Nature first, and also from personal relationships. (Larissa is actually better than me at this, but I’m a fast learner!) I tend to shine in the details, in projects that require precision, care, and a sharp eye — while she leads the bigger fronts.
We love the creative field because, even though our work is shared digitally, its essence comes from living experiences, exchanges, and presence. For us, creating is a call to be fully present in the moment — to train our subtle gaze to notice things that might otherwise be overlooked. And that’s what drives us: to translate that same attentive look into our work, so whoever is on the other side of the screen can feel it too.

MGLA: What inspired you to start working with media and event production?
Both areas came into our lives quite unexpectedly. It all began with corporate events, where we always worked closely with someone we affectionately call our “event boss,” Rejane Saraiva, CEO of Grupo RS Turismo & Eventos. After a few years in events, someone noticed our attitude and professionalism in service and invited us to a conversation. That opportunity opened the door for us to learn and work in the digital marketing world.
We explored different areas until we found the one that truly captured our attention and passion. We had the chance to live inside a full-service agency (Tigra Lab), where we learned a bit of everything. In the end, we discovered ourselves in audiovisual production: the art of capturing and editing images. That’s where our eyes light up, and the magic happens.
It wasn’t just agency life we experienced, but also two major campaigns — one political and one legal — which taught us as much as, if not more than, university. As our boss used to say: “Living a campaign graduates you faster than college.” And we felt that deeply.
We are grateful for every opportunity and for the way they unfolded so naturally. They didn’t just shape us technically, but also transformed us interpersonally into the professionals we are today.
MGLA: How do you merge two creative minds into one vision? What is your process as a duo?
Everything in life is a matter of perspective, and we trust fully in each other’s creative perspective. Perhaps because we’ve lived together for so long, our minds are aligned in many ways. But we are still two different people, with distinct personalities, and we always protect what’s most precious in us: our authenticity.
We are united and versatile in every sense, and professionally it’s no different. Our process is built on dialogue, partnership, and complicity — always seeking to serve better, to elevate the quality of what we deliver both for the company and for the client. We are completely committed to every project, always aligned with the client’s vision.
We believe the best posture to take in work — and in life — is one of mutual trust.

MGLA: Your work always feels organic and soulful. How does nature influence the way you produce and create?
Seeking refuge in nature and cultivating tranquility are essential for our souls.
But speaking about nature is always complex, it is so inspiring, abundant, and prosperous. We’ve learned to contemplate its beauty and to feel its energy and atmosphere. Yet we admit we haven’t fully developed the words to describe its magnitude. So instead, here is a glimpse of what we feel when we are immersed in this paradise and how it feeds our souls and illuminates our work:
It is in these settings that we find serenity, train our subtle gaze, quiet the mind, and let the spirit feel at home — where time dissolves and existence reveals itself in its most authentic and primordial form.
Far from the concrete jungle and the relentless demands of daily life, we feel connected to something greater. It’s not an escape from the world, but a return to ourselves. A moment of contemplation, where worries fade and perspective widens.
Being surrounded by nature is, for us, revitalizing, a true balm for the soul. Its simplicity invites us to rediscover the true wealth woven into the invisible threads of stillness and presence. In nature, our soul sheds the chains of the temporary and expands to embrace the eternal.

MGLA: Working as a couple can be both a gift and a challenge. What have you learned about leadership, trust, and partnership while building together?
Both sides of the coin are true. The secret is to maintain balance in our personal life, because it always reflects in our professional life. We tend to let ourselves be guided by emotions and let everything else follow — and that’s human. But we’ve learned we must be attentive so that the professional doesn’t ruin the personal, and vice versa.
We believe the greatest strength comes from a well-aligned personal relationship, one that honors each individual’s uniqueness while fostering deep complicity between us. When that foundation is strong, it becomes easier to separate personal from professional matters, and the path forward is lighter and more diplomatic.
From there, we’ve built a solid base of partnership, trust, and leadership. Both of us lead, both of us decide — but in different ways, each focusing on the areas where she is strongest. Two people with different lives and experiences coming together, weighing every perspective until we reach the best decision.
In our company and in the services we deliver, we are one. But in the steps it takes to make things happen, we divide responsibilities proportionally so that everything is carried out with mastery, balance, and organization.
MGLA: How do you divide responsibilities, and what does leadership mean to each of you?
Nathalia: There’s a phrase I love that says “Ducere est servire” — to lead is to serve. That’s how I see leadership. For me, it’s about developing and maturing aspects of myself so that one day I can embody leadership that inspires, shares, and builds communion with others.
Larissa: For me, leadership is not about standing in front, but standing alongside. It’s truly listening — with the will to understand and the interest to connect — seeing others’ needs and opening paths so that each person can grow and deliver their best. Leading is serving with purpose: with firmness, but also with calm, balance, and dedication. It’s inspiring by example and having the courage to face challenges, even the hardest ones, always with empathy and vision for the future. Leadership is strategy and solution.
As for responsibilities, we divide them proportionally. We both know we can perform well in any process, but we also recognize that each of us has a natural strength in certain areas. For example, Larissa has the gift of speaking and interpersonal connection — it flows naturally for her. I, Nathalia, have the gift of writing — my ideas connect best when I write, and that’s how I express myself.
We learn mutually from this process, always refining our skills and working in harmony. Every situation reaches us both, but through our alignment we find constructive ways to learn and grow from it together.

MGLA: What advice would you give to other creatives — or couples — who want to build something together?
Strengthen each other. Be one another’s foundation of trust and vibrate in the same energy. Stay aligned in your purposes — even if your personal goals differ, when you broaden your vision you’ll be able to clearly see the points in common, and that’s where you grow together.
Understand that two people come together to expand together. There is no superiority, but rather a flow of energy that balances: when one is down, the other sustains; when one sees further, the other trusts and follows.
Recognize that every divergence is actually an invitation to raise consciousness and to find the point of union that makes both stronger. Building together is about vibrating at the same frequency, allowing the relationship itself to become the guide — a safe ground where trust and purpose meet, leading toward mutual growth.
MGLA: Where do you see your work evolving in the coming years?
On both a national level and a global scale. Working with images is incredibly dynamic and versatile — pursue your purpose, find your niche, fill it with your personality and authenticity, master the technique, and transmit emotion. That’s how we see the flow of producing this digital art of capturing images, whether static or in motion.
The key is to always seek differentiation in what you do, so you don’t fall into the web of mediocrity. But even that concern fades away when you truly evoke passion for what you do — because authenticity and personality naturally shine through in the work itself.
